KEVIN BEIERSCHMITT

PRESIDENT, CEO, CHAIRMAIN OF THE BOARD

With over 28 years in the telecommunications industry, Kevin was responsible for the creation and formation of Flat Wireless, LLC in 2007.  Flat Wireless built a 4G wireless network covering approximately 2M people in tier 2 and tier 3 markets in the States of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and California.  Flat Wireless operated approximately 100 retail stores offering prepaid wireless services using the DBA of Cleartalk.  He previously served as CFO for PTA-FLA, a private company with a market value of approximately 50M and negotiated the sale of the company in November 2007 to Metro PCS.  He spent 6 years with Alamosa Holdings, Inc. located in Lubbock, Texas, the largest Sprint affiliate, and served as VP of Finance. Kevin was integral in the purchase and integration of other Sprint affiliate companies with a market capitalization of $700M and served as a key point of contact for due diligence work on the sale of Alamosa Holdings for $4.3B to Sprint in February 2006.  Kevin also dedicated 6 years of his career at Southwestern Bell Wireless as Regional Manager of Network Finance.  Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance/Accounting from Texas A&M University College Station, Texas in 1991 and is a Certified Public Accountant.

DOUG TAYLOR

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

With over 27 years of telecommunications experience, Doug is responsible for leading a core team responsible for engineering, constructing, implementing and maintaining wireless telecommunication networks capable of nationwide voice and high speed data services.  Prior to joining Flat Wireless, LLC, Doug served as Senior Director of Network Operations for Alamosa Holdings, Inc. located in Lubbock, Texas.  He was responsible for the operations of the largest Sprint PCS network as their largest affiliate partner.   He was accountable for leading a technical staff made up 62 employees, which consisted of Managers, Engineers and Systems Technicians to optimize achievement of operational compliance and setting standard guidelines throughout the Alamosa PCS network.  Doug’s career experience also includes working as a Senior Communication System Specialist with Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems and with Nortel Networks as a Technical Support Engineer.  During Doug’s career pursuits, he has completed extensive training with leaders in the telecommunications industry including Alcatel-Lucent, Metrica, AT&T, Boston Technologies, Ericsson, and Gemalto, and holds an Associates in Computer Science & Electronics Technology from American Commercial College.

PAULA CATOR

DIRECTOR OF PROJECT ENGINEERING & DESIGN

Having over a decade of telecommunications and management experience, Paula has managed several multi-million dollar projects and assisted in the designs of two LTE network deployments, device programming, facility design and systems management as Flat Wireless’ Director of Project Engineering and Design.  Paula also helped manage nationwide voice and data services with over 200 cell towers using Ericsson, Gemalto, Tellabs and various other high technology systems.  Paula assists in the management of tower crews, vendor relations, contract negotiations and business planning.  Paula has worked at Flat Wireless for over 7 years, prior work consisted of Network Optimization at NTS Communications where she led the engineering team, contract negotiations and wholesale.  Paula also holds a Bachelors in Communication from Texas Tech University and Associates in Business from Clarendon College.

CAMERON SMITH 

VICE PRESIDENT OF NETWORK OPERATIONS AND TOWER SERVICES

Cameron currently possesses 30+ years in the telecommunications industry, and 20+ years in the wireless industry alone. Cameron's brings a variety of expertise to the table, with experience the United States Air Force where he maintained systems for Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. After nine years of military service, Cameron worked for Nortel Networks in the Wireless CDMAS Services, Network Installation and Integration Department. Cameron started with Flat Wireless in April 2008 in the Wireless Network Operations Maintenance and Engineering Department and assisted with building and maintaining a 5-state wireless CDMA and LTE Network.

LANCE TINDALL
